- Installation Instructions:

- To install DSVIEW.NLM on each NetWare 4.x server, complete the following
- steps:
-
- 1. If you are using bindery emulation, log into the file server as
- Supervisor or as a user that is Supervisor Equivalent. If you are
- using the VLMs, log into the network as ADMIN or as a user that has
- Supervisor rights to the SYS:SYSTEM directory of the server on which
- you will be running the DSVIEW.NLM.

- 2. Map a drive to the SYS:SYSTEM directory.

- 3. Copy DSVIEW.NLM to the SYS:SYSTEM directory.

- 4. To run DSVIEW.NLM, use RCONSOLE.EXE or go the console of the server
- where the NLM will be run and type LOAD DSVIEW.

- The following information categories may be selected from the main menu:

- 1. Entry Information
- View the information about the entries themselves (entries such as,
- local id, base class, creation time, subordinates, attributes, and
- attribute values). Navigate through the entries using the "tree"
- model. For example, go from parent to child or from sibling to
- sibling.

- 2. Partition Information
- Displays the partitions located on the server.

- 3. Tree (Start at [Root])
- Displays the entries, beginning at [Root]. This is a quick way to
- return to the top of the tree.

- 4. Attribute Definitions
- Displays the attributes defined by the schema.

- 5. Class Definitions
- Displays the classes defined by the schema.

- 6. Server Information
- Displays information specific to the local server (such as, name,
- address, file size)
