  17. DSView.NLM is a server-centric view of Directory Services.  In other words, it
  18. displays only the information that is available in the Directory database on
  19. the server on which the NLM is run.

  48.      To install DSVIEW.NLM on each NetWare 4.x server, complete the following
  49.      steps:
  50.  
  51.      1.   If you are using bindery emulation, log into the file server as
  52.           Supervisor or as a user that is Supervisor Equivalent.  If you are
  53.           using the VLMs, log into the network as ADMIN or as a user that has
  54.           Supervisor rights to the SYS:SYSTEM directory of the server on which
  55.           you will be running the DSVIEW.NLM.

  57.      2.   Map a drive to the SYS:SYSTEM directory.
  58.  
  59.      3.   Copy DSVIEW.NLM to the SYS:SYSTEM directory.
  60.  
  61.      4.   To run DSVIEW.NLM, use RCONSOLE.EXE or go the console of the server
  62.           where the NLM will be run and type LOAD DSVIEW.

  66.      The following information categories may be selected from the main menu:

  68.      1.   Entry Information
  69.           View the information about the entries themselves (entries such as,
  70.           local id, base class, creation time, subordinates, attributes, and
  71.           attribute values).  Navigate through the entries using the "tree"
  72.           model.  For example, go from parent to child or from sibling to
  73.           sibling.

  75.      2.   Partition Information
  76.           Displays the partitions located on the server.

  78.      3.   Tree (Start at [Root])
  79.           Displays the entries, beginning at [Root].  This is a quick way to
  80.           return to the top of the tree.

  83.           Displays the attributes defined by the schema.
